Cosmic Canvas | Te Whānau Marama - Learn about Astronomy during Matariki

Explore the wonders of space this Matariki with our interactive digital projection and come along to our fun workshops with local astronomers. Bring your whānau along and get curious about Matariki, science and astronomy!

You will experience:

  • Interactive introductions to astronomy and the Matariki cluster (Pleiades)

  • QnA to ask all of your crazy questions to our astronomers

  • A digital interactive table featuring fascinating facts, and crazy animations about space.

  • A telescope!

  • Drawing activities!

  • Free stickers!

You will also be able to experience the digital table in your own time the week before the workshops.
