Lucy-Mary’s Map

Lucy-Mary works at the Aaiotanga Community Space in Emily Place. Her big passion is telling the story of place as a whole living system, with all it’s many layers… geology, hydrology, ecology, mana whenua history, settler history, present day communities, future plans for the city. 


Mik & Dory’s Map

Mik is a long term resident of the City Centre and has been passionate about building community for many years. He’s helped set up markets in Freyberg Squsre, as well as many community events and Feijoa tree planting on Constitution Hill. He writes the Vertical Voice neighbourhood newsletter and loves to uncover the weird and wonderful stories of the city centre, as well as create a few new ones that make people laugh.

Dory is an urban planner who always looking at the city through the lens of better design. She loves to research the ways in which cities can facilitate better living for it’s people and combat things like loneliness and barriers to accessibility.
